So vastly different than what I am used to but an excellent addition to my reading material! With your description alone, I did not know what to expect. Strange because, now that I have read some of your material, I find your summary to extremely apt!!

Hey Kobi, I am glad to have been able to arouse such and it is a pleasure to have you drop by mate and do appreciate your take on the Summary. wishing you a beautiful day and do have a good one!!

The collab that substack never knew we needed. 10/10 guys. Woosh, it's moments like these that give you breezing clarity for how to dissect your imaginative thoughts. Reality is really what you make it and I don't know about anyone else but I ain't trying to play victim for nothing. Not even myself.

Once again, 10/10.

Glad we could be of service mate and bring you such insight. And glad you to also know you enjoyed reading. Have a good one

The distinction between imagination itself and imagination without direction stayed with me. There is real clarity in that. Sometimes the problem is not thought, but what happens when attention leaves it unwitnessed.

Easy Weezy's avatar

You said it well Antonio

Absolutely. Thank you 🙏 Antonio.

Imagination Tax is real, but it is not only an attention problem.

It is also an incentive problem.

If the environment keeps rewarding anticipation loops, attention alone will not fix it.

What part of your environment is training you to stay in that loop?

Thanks for reading Frank! You know a fellow writer and I were just talking about this yesterday. She said what I call "Admin" and label writer's block in a sense, she calls fun. And finds herself constantly chasing those little dopamine hits. Which I thought probably proved both our points.

That’s actually a really interesting contrast. What feels like ‘stuckness’ to one person can feel like engagement or momentum to someone else, depending on how they experience that same moment.

Easy Weezy's avatar

Yep the old adage of one mans meat another poison comes to mind and like they say a steady shot of dopamine in small increments better than a rush and then a quick decline. Thanks for reading mate!!!

Yeah, it really does come down to how differently things land for different people, and how pacing often matters more than intensity.

You summarized it beautifully mate 🙏🏾🫶🏾💯

Thank you for this. I have been thinking about, struggling with, and trying to evolve in how to navigate imagination, creativity, and hyper-vigilance. Not easy. https://fiordy.substack.com/p/hypervigilance-and-invasive-multi

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts Fiordy 🙏. I completely understand where you're coming from. And I've really been thinking about Weezy's quote, “The anxious mind is not a flaw but a powerful instrument without instruction.” I just love it! With the right tools and attention, we can turn these "flaws" into strengths. Happy Writing!🤠🤙
